Nardin Academy is seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Director of Finance
- Answers incoming calls to the Academy
- Handles all mail/delivery issues with various carriers, USPS, UPS, FedEx, RIPS and supply vendors
- Sorts all mail by division/office, notifies appropriate personnel of special deliveries in a timely manner
- Responds to all "buzzer" requests to enter building, logs the visitor in log book and provides a visitor pass. Notifies appropriate party and provides directions to visitor.
- Handles calls requesting general information about the Academy and mails out information packets if requested
- Maintains a calendar of events for each division on a weekly basis so that information can be provided as requested
- Maintains an up to date record of directions to various parks and sport sites for reference when a parent calls
- Responds to Administrators requests for services or information

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision.
Work Schedule:
7:30am to 4:00pm, with 1/2 hour lunch break
Salary:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
