What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract coordinator position at Nasdaq?
This role will primarily entail drafting agreements between Nasdaq and our clients and partners, on behalf of the Index Sales team.
This role is functional to the continued development and improvement of the overall client experience, with the objective of finalizing agreements through to signature.
They will be working collaboratively with Sales, Legal, R&D, Operations, and more.
- Fully be responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities around the drafting and finalizing of index license agreements and index data contracts with clients through to signature in support of the Sales team
- Work with various Index teams (Sales, Legal, R&D, Operations, etc.) to ensure there is a continuous workflow, effective communication, and planning perspective on behalf of the client
- Assist with document management and search efforts in partnership with the Index Licensing team
- Upload and track various documents within DocuSign for internal / external signatures
- Negotiate contract terms with clients in partnership with Nasdaq index sales and legal teams
- Draft bespoke contract language to capture the intent of unique commercial arrangements with vetting from Nasdaq index sales and legal teams
- Generate client focused, new insights for operational improvements, streamlined contract process
- Assist with the maintenance of Nasdaq’s CRM database (Salesforce.com), SharePoint and Confluence pages in support of the Index Sales team
- May support the sales team by taking notes during calls, summarizing customer issues, providing phone support, and responding to basic customer inquiries.
- Manages various projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are being met
- Solve problems using existing solutions, exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information, and utilize best practice approach
You will need to demonstrate skills / experience in :
- 0-2 years of experience in a Client Success / Customer Service / Sales Support role
- Communication both internal / external stakeholders through email, phone, tele-conference
- Time management : ability to manage day-to-day tasks and multiple projects at once
- Problem solving in a faced-paced environment
- Understand prospects / client’s needs and provide adequate solutions
- Previous process improvement experience
- Knowledge and efficient in Microsoft Product Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Visio)
And it would be great if you also have experience in :
- Salesforce, SharePoint and Confluence Experience
- BI Reporting Tools (Microsoft, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience in the Financial Services, Technology, or related industry
- Education Required : Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
