SCHEDULER
Overview:
A Scheduler at National Design Mart is responsible for delivering strong customer service skills and striving for a positive work environment. The Scheduler must understand that delivering a first impression is what set's the stage for the experience that customer will come to expect and deserves. This position will work directly with the Lead Scheduler to ensure all installs are scheduled and deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Customer Service (90%)
o Answering phones
o Scheduling and/or re-scheduling installs
o Scheduling and/or re-scheduling deliveries
o Provide quality customer service to all customers/clients
o Ability to understand install techniques and facilitate calls from customers and sales staff
- Knowledge & Training (10%)
o Identifies personal growth needs and improvement opportunities; seeks to obtain product information; learns and assists others in learning about products, communicates with others.
Requirements
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently while handling multiple tasks.
- Must have the ability to think proactively when handling customer's calls.
- Strong organization skills are required to multi-task effectively.
- A high level of interpersonal communication skills is required.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
- Ability to participate effectively as a team member.
- Regular attendance required with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Aspects
- Standing and/or walking for up to 4 hours consistently.
- Ability to operate computer programs.
