POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently searching for an Operations Coordinator to manage our growing portfolio. Ideal candidates are ambitious, self-directed, and willing to learn a new style of property management. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing, real estate company. Candidates should also have strong communication, problem solving, and customer service skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee ~1000 units consisting primarily of single family rental homes.
- Monitor resident communications and work order reports, prioritizing issues based on urgency
- Analyze resident requests to determine responsible party for work and dispatching when appropriate
- Communicating with residents (inbound and outbound) to obtain necessary information and schedule work order completion
- Scheduling maintenance technicians for work order completion
- Coordinate work order service with contractors and 3rd party vendors
- Gather quotes, analyze for accuracy and gain approval for work on larger projects
- Perform quality control on work completed using photographs and unit inspections
- Follow up with residents to ensure resolution of issue(s) with an emphasis on tenant satisfaction
- Expand our network by finding new vendors in multiple markets
- Organize and update recurring services such as lawn care, cleaning, pool maintenance, etc.
- Assist the maintenance and property managers in other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 0-2 years of experience in real estate construction or maintenance
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Mobile Communication
- Working knowledge of the Yardi property management platform preferred
- Face-to-face customer service experience
- Willingness to work flexible schedule as needed
- High energy level and sense of ownership
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines in a fast paced, results-oriented environment
- Tact, diplomacy, and a courteous and professional manner
