The Pricing Analyst will serves as data and software application analyst for property and casualty pricing department. Designs, develops, and maintains databases and software applications used by pricing department.

This position will be in Omaha Nebraska, and hybrid up to 50% of the time at manager discretion. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

• Designs, builds, and maintains databases utilized by the property and casualty pricing and product development team.
• Administers and oversees the delivery of software applications dedicated to the property and casualty pricing and product development department.
• Implements accurate and efficient delivery mechanisms of rating structures (algorithms and rating factors etc.) developed by pricing department to other company software and policy administration systems.
• Designs and builds tools to improve the rate revision process.
• Serves as technical representative of pricing and product development department with regards to data access rights and data delivery, ensuring pricing department has necessary database access rights and tools to assemble required analytic and reporting data and hardware to handle computational demands.
• Under direction of manager, automates and streamlines work processes with a particular focus on data assembly, data validation, and report generation.
• Serve as department representative on data management, programming, and other technology matters.
• Responsible for drafting documentation and written summaries of pricing department software and models when necessary to meet business purposes.
• Performs the design, construction, and maintenance of predictive models for the property casualty insurance business.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• One or more years related work experience
• Personal computer related spreadsheet software
