Office Manager for Small Business

Small Business Office Manager (Salary 40 hours per week)

Location: Elm Grove, WI

Starting base salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year depending upon work experience, background and qualifications plus possible annual big bonus if annual goals/objectives are obtained. Group health insurance plan is also included and available if needed as well as paid vacation time is available after probation period of employment is completed.

Small 20-year-old established Elm Grove area based national e-commerce supplier and distributor of business to business commercial products and supplies seeking qualified and experienced small business office manager to manage small office and customer service team ensuring that our operations and customer service experience and process is a pleasant, productive and efficient one.

-Primary job duties would be: Managing small customer service team of 4 or 5 customer support representatives. This would include establishing/creating daily or weekly curriculums for employees, balancing work loads and tasks for everybody, having measures & protocols in place to gauge activity and productivity through weekly reporting/evaluating and weekly/monthly meetings including accountability established and in place for all employees.

Also included would be handling of the human resources-(hiring/training/firing employees) plus assisting when needed with standard customer service duties including data/order entry, assisting with order status’s, handling customer service issues, preparing quotations, customer follow up, quote follow up, invoicing, acknowledgements, providing product information and customer support when needed, special projects and special assignments, etc., etc.

Job requirements are as follows: (Please don’t apply without these qualifications)

· 2-year associate degree required and 4-year bachelor degree preferred

· 5-6 years minimum small business mgmt. experience with reputable company(s)

· Proven employment history with minimum 3-4 years employment with each previous employer (No job hoppers or jumpers)

· Small business experience/background preferred (Not large corporate background)

· Great management style and skills

· Great communication and phone skills

· Great organizational skills

· Good computer software knowledge and skills

· Detail orientated (Need a detailed orientated person)

· Need a reliable and dependable person

· Need a strong-minded person (Not a good fit for sensitive people)

-Hours: Monday-Friday business hours 8:00am to 4:00pm. Start date: within 1 month.

-Will report to President (aka small business owner)
