NPW is seeking an experienced strategic sales leader to manage our stores in northern Alabama.
The ideal candidate for this position will have over five years of store management experience. Specifically, monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of current procedures, developing, and implementing operational policies, maintaining store profitability by managing expenses to sales and overseeing and supporting a team of personnel in the assigned locations
The candidate must also possess exceptional customer relationship building skills with the ability to understand and help lead a client-centric, service-focused culture.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for Labor Management of Area Stores by overseeing scheduling and assigning of employees and their work results.
Maintains Area Stores' profitability by managing expenses to sales and adjusting as necessary. Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
Maintain Area Stores' staff job results by overseeing and mentoring store managers to effectively coach, counsel, and discipline employees; planning monitoring and appraising job results as well as recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Develops and maintains commercial customer accounts. Maintains relationship with the Commercial Account Manager (CAM) to partner on outside sales support needs. Tracks sales trends by monitoring KPI's and evaluating various financial reports; demonstrates a clear and objective understanding of category performance.
Follows all policies and procedures related to cash, credit, check, refund and return policies. Reacts to customer service issues, customer complaints, and/or business opportunities as appropriate.
Maintain awareness of market trends in the automotive aftermarket, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing. Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
Provides open and frank communication with direct managers along with effective and collaborative partnerships with colleagues across the organization.
Promotes and educates teams to work in a safe manner, protects employees and customers by providing safe and clean store environments.
Works as scheduled, attendance occurrences at an acceptable level.
Promote NPW core values while successfully leading and managing a team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Over five (5) years of store management experience.
Possess strong communication and leadership skills, one-on-one, small groups, and larger group presentations.
Flexibility to work a schedule that may include travel to Area Stores, evening, weekends, and holidays.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate.
Exceptional customer relationship building skills with the ability to understand and help lead a client-centric, service-focused culture.
High level of empathy, curiosity, collaboration and optimism are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds unassisted.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, stand, walk, bend at waist and knees, use hands, and reach with arms.
