NRE is an employee-owed company specializing in new and re-manufactured locomotives. We are global leaders in the rail, marine, and power industries. Our Inside Sales team provides EXCELLENT customer service to our international customers and clients.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

  • Communicate with customers on RFQ, orders (emails & phone calls)
  • Communicate with suppliers on pricing and orders (emails & phone calls)
  • Support outside sales team
  • Enter quotes and sales orders
  • Troubleshooting customers order status & issues
  • Research and cross reference customer part numbers to NRE part numbers
  • Communicate with shipping to be sure sales order ships in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with production scheduling of component builds
  • Works with computer programs: Word, Excel, MAS
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PREFERRED ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Inside sales experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn is required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Possess strong time management skills
  • Highly computer proficient with the ability to use Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint to create reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
