Position Overview: Responsible for maintenance (preventative & repairs) on all plant equipment and occasionally help with facility maintenance.
Essential Job Functions:
Training: Provided on the job and may be supplemented with external, local, or out-of-town training.
Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for duration of shift, manual dexterity when working with industrial sewing machines of all sizes, and good vision (corrected vision is fine). Needs to be able to lift 40 lbs.
Working Conditions: Temperature-regulated plant environment and consistent background machine noise.

- Performs all tasks in a safe and OSHA approved manner wearing appropriate PPE when necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all cutting and spreading equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all sewing machines.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all other production pieces of equipment.
- Record all maintenance and repair services performed into Maintenance Log.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and clean up thoroughly when completing a production repair or request.
- Maintain neat and orderly spare parts, cabinets, and machine manuals.
- Be part of a maintenance team that is constantly looking to find ways for a sewer or sewing team to improve their efficiency.
- Be involved in various machine and/or facility projects.

Qualifications:
- Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of machine/equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
