The Production Manager is responsible for all operational activities. They will ensure that their junior and senior processors are well equipped with the knowledge necessary to process a file. This position leads, trains, and provides management oversight to the branch to ensure that all activates are done accurately.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with branch/sales managers to ensure a quality level of communication.
- Hold periodic loan operations meetings to discuss improvements, provide feedback, and resolve issues.
- Provide regular feedback, reports, and training to branch management on compliance related issues.
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staffing at the branch levels which includes providing formalized methods for providing performance feedback to branch managers.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ mortgage originating experience with demonstrated success.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to begin origination loans.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Personal financial stability.
- Follows loan protocols.
- Computer efficiency.
- Experience with Encompass LOS software.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in sales or mortgage operations.
- Financial intellect as well as fundamental understanding of a mortgage application.
- Great communication skills and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide financial alternatives.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Loan Application software.
- Strong experience with FHA conventional, and VA loans.
- Experience with re-fi transactions.
- Strong leadership and attention to detail.
