Natural Retreats is hiring a hospitality focused General Manager to join our Big Sky, Montana team! Come join the best luxury vacation rental management company! The General Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Natural Retreats portfolio in Big Sky.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

ESSENTIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the complete operational performance of the site
- Work closely with the Vice President of Operations to develop, implement, and maintain procedures relevant to the site to increase profitability, performance, and efficiencies
- Monitor and be accountable for the destination's financials, including homeowner statements
- Ensure all guests receive amazing service in all aspects of their stay from arrival to departure
- Ensure all properties are ready and correctly setup according to brand standards prior to every guest and owner arrival
- Interview, recruit, and train staff as needed and encourage ongoing development and progression
- Work collaboratively with the business development team when adding new homes to the portfolio to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues, and current competition on the program
- Advise owners and clients on Natural Retreats' guidelines
- Review P&Ls and budgets for input and feedback.
- Rotating on call weeks, covering holidays and weekends
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience AND 2 years of hospitality or sales management
- Minimum 3 years of people management
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Highly autonomous and self-motivated
- Must be computer savvy and able to learn new software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in addition to exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to make and cultivate strong personal connections and relationships with homeowners
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in the required timeframe
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with hours of work varying, especially during peak season
