Position: Shuttle Driver
Pay: $28.25 per hour to start $500 sign-on bonus opportunity bonuses
Shifts: First – Full Time Work (5:30 am to 2 pm)
Immediate openings for Full across all shifts with potential for Sign-On Bonus of $500 and performance incentives.
Nature’s Bakery, a fast-growing national brand of better-for-you snacks, has immediate openings for Shuttle Drivers. We have openings on 1st shift and offer 40 hours per week for regular full-time employees. Interviews and offer decisions are often made on the same day.
As a Shuttle Drive, you are an essential worker, responsible for the safe and reliable transport of finished goods and raw ingredients to Company distribution points. This includes operating a forklift to unload trailer and reload. Driver will also assist with warehouse duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operating transport vehicle safely, ensuring vehicle meets all DOT laws and Company standards.
• Verifying in/loads and out/loads and Bill of Lading.
• Accurately tracking work hours/schedules and mileage.
• Documenting required pre-trip and post trip inspection of truck, ensuring fluid levels and air pressures are within spec and notifying management of any quality or safety issues.
• Operates powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Examine and inspect pallets for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Ensure that all ingredients and packaging that was requested is on the truck.
• Driver is to ensure on a daily basis that truck is free of trash, debris, or any pieces of broken pallets.
• Driver is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the truck.
• Responsible for sweeping out trailer and cleaning the truck windows, etc.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized as well as the dock areas.
• Assist in wrapping pallets that are coming off the line and the warehouse personnel.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all incidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Will spend most of the day, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following list that follows is representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
• Ability to work in cold and warm environments.
• Ability to work and drive in inclement weather.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift products and boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction.
• Ability to work independently with a minimum supervision
• Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, talk, hear, lift, and perform repetitive motions
• Individual must be willing to work as a team member.
• Ability to do mathematical operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid Class A CDL
• Pass DOT physical and drug testing requirements
• Clean driving record and ability to meet Company Qualification Policy
• Good communication and math skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and various shifts
