The Assistant Manager is an integral part of NAVA's success. We are looking for a full time person M-F with Saturday flexibility at our Ashburn Virginia (Shoppes at Ryan Center) location. Primary responsibilities include:
Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting all areas of daily operations and staff at an assigned retail location and reports directly to the General Manager. Assistant Manager drives financial performance, client experience and employee culture.
Assistant Manager candidate must have a proven ability to:
- efficiently manage staff, operations, and increase revenues through active business development activities.
- navigate and problem solve complex insurance billing and/or requirements
- ensure accurate billing by frequently auditing individuals and processes
- motivate and develop staff and work effectively
- ensure optimal schedule adherence
- maintain facility to an acceptable level of appearance,
- communicate staff objectives and job expectations
- defuse difficult clients, staff, and situations
- promote products and services that optimize results
- multi-task using computer, phone
- effectively train administrative staff and evaluate performance
- establishing office policies and procedures while enforcing existing
- address patient and staff issues with urgency
- minimum of 3-5 years of related management experience
- willing to work occasional weekends
- willing to travel to multiple locations within MD and VA (if needed)
- high school diploma required, college degree preferred (emphasis in business management, wellness, healthcare, or related field of study)
