PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
To assist the Consumer Lending personnel in a prefunding review of loans to ensure the accuracy of documents and funding.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Review consumer loan packages prefunding for accuracy of all loan documents and if applicable title perfection documents.
- Review consumer loan applications prefunding software applications for accuracy.
- Ensures the protection of the credit unions interest in matters of adequate documentation and adherence to policies, procedures, and the various laws and regulation that apply.
- All other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervise Approximately: None
Reports To: Loan Admin., Assistant Manager
Contacts: Daily electronic or telephone contact with member service staff, coaches, branch managers and frequent contact with other departments such as training, records, etc.
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Requires communication and general business knowledge usually. Most important to this position are reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail. To adequately perform this position, the incumbent must have knowledge of consumer financial federal and state laws and regulations and should have good knowledge of all member products and services offered and related policies and procedures.
EDUCATION
High school diploma/GED.
EXPERIENCE
One(1) year financial operations experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical effort is minimal; however along with communication skills: speaking and hearing abilities, and wrist/hand/fingers manipulation and movement is inherent in the job as well as restriction to workspace for prolonged periods. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor and review of documents.
EQUIPMENT SKILLS
Personal computer with windows environment, typewriter, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and Scanner.
