Summary:
This position proactively develops strong working relationships with NCD's network of agents and brokers. The Account Executive is the main point of contact for agents, primarily responsible for connecting with contracted agents, building rapport, and marketing our products. In addition, this position is responsible for contacting and onboarding agents that have expressed an interest in selling NCD products.
Remote with monthly travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulates and implements short- and long-term strategies to grow business with contracted agents and brokers.
- Identifies and contacts contracted agents and brokers that have yet to submit new business or have submitted limited amount of new business.
- Educates agents and brokers of available NCD products.
- Develops, implements, and maintains effective contact with established NCD brokers and agents.
- Ensures effective onboarding for prospective and new agents and brokers.
- Communicates effectively and proactively with other members of the team and those in other departments to continuously improve the agent onboarding and sales process.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of account management.
- High degree of technical knowledge regarding benefit policies, billing, commission structures, distribution systems, and selling process as it relates to sales and marketing.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Analytical/problem solving skills.
- Bilingual is a plus
- Degree in relevant field or equivalent related work experience
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required; college preferred
- 3 years of insurance sales preferred
- Experience working in the health or dental insurance industry
