THE ROLE 
We are currently seeking an experienced field sales professional to join our growing Sales Team! You will have 5 years of software sales experience in the financial industry. In this role, you will be a hands-on direct sales executive within a US territory. You will have the discretion to interface with key VP and C-Suite decision makers in financial institutions utilizing a consultative and collaborative selling approach. You will be focused on driving deep engagement at your accounts to understand their approach to Vendor Management, Risk Management, and compliance. It will be your job to find opportunities and ultimately sell the right product, to the right customer at the right time.

YOU WILL 

  • Generate leads through prospecting activity and use independent judgement and discretion to determine which leads to further pursue. 
  • Manage risk compliance sales using your independent judgement and discretion.  
  • Using your experience, expertise, and independent judgment, develop a territory strategy and partner with the Business Development team to execute that strategy including any key account plans. 
  • Independently prepare sales proposals; use independent judgment and discretion to determine services to highlight for prospective clients during demonstrations; analyze sales proposals and demonstrations to determine how to better facilitate and negotiate sales pitches. 
  • Be responsible for meeting metrics for setting in-person initial meetings with VP and C-level executives, successfully demonstrating solutions, and managing the sales cycle.   
  • Consistently achieve or exceed the target sales projections.   
  • Analyze sales data and prospects to provide accurate, reliable reports and forecasts for individual sales pipeline.   
  • Effectively utilize specific proven sales talks, presentations, and answers to objections including using independent judgment and discretion to determine when deviations need to be made.  
  • Use Salesforce.com CRM to analyze validity of data, unilaterally determine best prospects and courses of action, and provide proper forecasting.    
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and analysis/implementation of ideas for how to improve sales.    
  • Actively and independently contribute to building a “best place to work” and a winning culture that attracts and retains the best and the brightest.  
  • Help shape the company’s strategy and business plan, and ensure all functional areas are in alignment.  

YOU BRING
  • Successful, self-motivated, results and data-driven sales representative, with 5 years of SaaS sales experience   
  • Experienced field sales representative with ability to travel as needed   
  • Use of independent judgment and discretion based upon your experience and expertise. 
  • Experience in utilizing salesforce.com (CRM)   
  • Growth experience/ability to be hands-on and use independent judgement in a high-growth software company environment   
  • Experience presenting to C- level executives in a consultative selling approach  

BONUS POINTS 
  • Bachelors Degree; SaaS, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Experience selling software to banks and credit unions with an ASP between $10,000 - $100,000 (ACV)
  • Experience performing solutions sales cycles leveraging a team sales approach including yourself, your sales manager, & presales subject matter experts.
  • Experience selling into financial or banking institutions
  • Domain experience with GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) software
  • Experience selling SaaS software solutions

Compensation Information

Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $90,000 to $100,000 per year with a commission potential equal to your base pay.
