JoJo's Bar, a vibrant and popular establishment nestled in the heart of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Assistant Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our management staff, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high operational standards, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence:
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, comments, and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to resolve any issues to the satisfaction of the guest.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of front of house staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
• Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to ensure team members deliver consistent service excellence.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and mutual respect among staff.
• Operations Management:
• Oversee daily operations of the front of house, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the front of house area, including dining areas, bar, and restrooms.
• Sales and Revenue Optimization:
• Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.
• Monitor sales trends, analyze performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Actively promote special events, promotions, and menu offerings to maximize sales and guest engagement.
• Relationship Building:
• Cultivate positive relationships with regular customers, local businesses, and community organizations to enhance the bar's reputation and attract new clientele.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate favorable terms.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Solid understanding of bar and restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
• Knowledge of Ohio liquor laws and regulations is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
