Program Coordinator - DUI Program

Position Overview:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to oversee our Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Education Program in Arizona. As Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring program compliance with state regulations while providing essential services to our clients. This position involves supervisory responsibilities and various administrative tasks to effectively manage program operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the DUI Screening, Education, and Treatment program.
- Process enrollments, dismissals, and completion certificates in accordance with state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant state laws and regulations.
- Provide written and oral reports on program services and operations.
- Supervise and provide direction to other DUI staff members.
- Prepare responses to corrective action plans as directed by the Board of Directors.
- Address participant complaints and concerns effectively.
- Conduct training sessions for DUI staff members as needed.
- Develop and maintain an information & referral system.
- Collaborate and establish relationships with other alcohol treatment providers, courts, attorneys, and other relevant agencies to enhance service delivery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Arizona Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Two years of full-time experience in a DUI Screening, Education, and Treatment program.
- Two years of experience in providing alcohol and/or other drug treatment or recovery services.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Certification as an Alcohol or Other Drug Counselor approved by the Arizona Department of Health Services (preferred, but not required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of current management practices and supervision techniques.
- Familiarity with county mandates, funding sources, and public service structures.
- Knowledge of social welfare, housing, and health issues related to the DUI program population.
- Ability to set goals and implement procedures to achieve program objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills with diverse agencies and stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate subordinate staff effectively.
- Proficiency in preparing clear and concise reports.
- Comfortable speaking in public forums.
