Position Overview:
The objective of the Brand President is to direct, administer and coordinate company operations. The Brand President will also be responsible for executing the policies, goals and objectives established by the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establish Brand financial, technical and administrative goals and objectives based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives. Direct the preparation of short term and long-range plans and budgets to meet corporate goals and objectives.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the Brand organization. Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically. Prepare profit and loss statements and report results to the COO.
- Maintain a sound plan of corporate organization establishing policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession.
- Develop and install procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow.
- Establish operating policies for Brand consistent with the broad policies and objectives of the COO. Ensure execution to these policies and objectives.
- Oversee the development, production, promotion, sale and support of franchise companies.
- Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
- Ensure that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Assist the COO in establishing operating policies, promoting/enhancing communication, business administration, staff development, and business promotion and development for Neighborly®.
- Manage subordinate supervisors who oversee the franchise operations support teams and franchise sales process
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Conducts interviews, trains, directs and appraises work performance for employees
- Resolve franchisee and employee complaints and follow the appropriate course of action
- Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own.
Required Attributes:
- Communicate clearly and precisely in verbal and written forms to employees, franchise owners and prospective franchise owners and vendors
- This position could require up to 30% of travel for site visits, company functions, conferences and tradeshows.
Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
Experience: Ten (10) or more years related leadership experience and / or training in the franchise industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
