Nelson's Bar & Grill is looking for a Head Chef to join our team in Canton, OH.
The Head Chef will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory and ordering of all food and supplies.
- Training and development of team members.
- Serving delicious food that is made to order.
- Managing a schedule that includes shifts, weekend hours and other duties as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with staff and customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; Culinary Arts degree preferred.
- 2 years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food and restaurant procedures.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers.
