Warehouse Manager

Nelson Wholesale Services is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager for the Columbia, Ms location.

The role of the Warehouse Manager is to supervise warehouse and logistics staff, manage shipping, receiving, packaging, logistics, and other responsibilities.

Warehouse Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* The direct supervision and training of personnel involved in shipping, receiving, warehousing materials handling, packaging, and trucking.

* Create shipping routes that will expedite the shipping of products in an efficient and timely manner.

* Hiring and training new warehouse staff and truck drivers

* Ensure timely and efficient movements of product to to the customer

* Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders out of the facility

* Ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse

* Work with management to ensure that all records and reports regarding warehouse activity are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

* Ability to organize and supervise the work of other warehouse, trucking and logistic staff

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Good time management skills

* Computer experience and aptitude

* Ability to work effectively with other associates, truck drivers, customers and vendors

* Ability to create efficient routing for trucks delivering products to customers

Salary is commensurate upon experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
