Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures
Monitor customer specification sheets and appropriate processing sheets
Ensure responses to corrective action requests are accurate, complete and timely
Supervise and maintain housekeeping, 5S standards and Autonomous Maintenance activities
Supervise and assist in mold set ups and start-ups
Coordinate production reports
Delegate responsibilities to technicians and other employees, when applicable
Organize meetings for all employees to facilitate communication and resolve issues
Coordinate all employee training
Maintain attendance records
Take necessary corrective or disciplinary actions with subordinates as necessary
Document all employee conflicts or problems and forward to the Production Manager or Human Resources
Daily scheduling of operators
Coordinate the issuing of tool repair request and maintenance work orders
Supervise all production employees
Other duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years injection molding experience required
1 year of leadership experience preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, sit and walk up to 90% of shift
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb as needed.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work on Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
Basic SAP knowledge
Knowledge of inspection technicians
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Works in a clean manufacturing and warehouse environment that may include moderate noise levels
Ability to travel daily between office and production departments as well as company buildings required
Qualifications
