The HR Training and Engagement Specialist, a vital member of our People Experience team, is integral to the seamless operation of the organization's Human Resource department. This role includes developing and providing training in-person and remotely, managing employee training and performance evaluation records, advising managers on employee engagement and organizational culture to help drive team performance and excellence.

The HR Training and Engagement Specialist, a vital member of our People Experience team, is integral to the seamless operation of the organization's Human Resource department. This role includes developing and providing training in-person and remotely, managing employee training and performance evaluation records, advising managers on employee engagement and organizational culture to help drive team performance and excellence.
What You Will Do
- Schedule, organize and lead new hire orientation monthly
- Plan, schedule and track all new hire training
- Recommends, develops, and implements training programs to drive organizational capabilities, through in-person, virtual, and blended formats
- Develops, launches, and administers employee recognition policies and programs
- Enhance training on leadership, feedback & coaching
- Deliver on-site training for business retreats
- Curation and facilitation of ad-hoc training requests
- Defining, tracking and reporting against all KPIs and metrics related to each project/program
- Support NEOGOV Leadership Academy as needed
- Track and report on all mandatory training programs ensuring they are implemented successfully and completed
- Assist IT with training programs
- Assist with Performance Review Process; maintenance of Perform Platform
- Assist with all People Performance Communication including the People Experience website
- Perform other HR duties as assigned

- 2-3 years of training and engagement experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- HR Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Training and performance management administration experience preferred
- NEOGOV experience a plus
