What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietician position at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center?
The Registered Dietician will plan, administer, and direct all unit activities related to patient nutrition care and food service complying with the standards established by NMRMC and regulatory agencies. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to patient care.

EDUCATION:
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Dietitian.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION:
- Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and license by the State of Kansas required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively with patients, customers and staff.
- Ability to write letters, summaries and reports, using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
