What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flex operator position at Nesco Resource?
Flex Operator Shift : 7 : 00pm-7 : 00am on a 2-2-3 schedule Pay : Starting out at $20 per hour (Based upon experience) Position Summary : Flex Operator assists production by filling in for Floaters and / or Production Operators as needed.
When not needed by production job duties will consist of helping the nozzle shop with prep work and assisting processors in daily tasks.
- Responsibilities : Clean, test and assemble nozzles and nozzle blocksComplete all mold change over prep work assignedAssist in mold / version change overs as neededClean assigned presses and press areas dailyAssist in completion of FPI / SAComplete Paulson training within 1 year of position being awardedWork in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process, proper training techniques must be followed)Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement;
- is expected to promote and sustain any and all CI / 5S / STW activitiesRead and understand all product related documents such as the product guidelines, quality alerts, safety alerts, scrap reporting, standard work documents, customer option sheets, and growth metrics along with the using first piece as a visual aidClean, trim and assemble components using hand tools and use fit, form and function as requiredTrain other employees and assist other departments as neededComplete all mandatory safety training and attend all mandatory meetingsMaintain general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by managementWork in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement;
