Position Summary
The Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator delivers key responsibilities as it relates to compliance and employee development within our organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Earn and maintain LMS SuperUser role qualifications, administer factory LMS, incorporating Market and Global standards in solution recommendations and deployments.
- Manage the NHSc LMS SharePoint, which includes the master assignment spreadsheet.
- Design and distribute standard and custom reports for course owners and trainers to provide compliance data and ensure accuracy. Support and track departmental training metrics for stakeholders.
- Assign linked training materials for initial training or retraining as required. Manage decommissioning and delinking of obsolete learning materials. Manage dynamic assignment configurations.
- Assist with course logistics for delivery of client learning solutions.
- Maintain and review consistent best practices for documenting the creation, revision, and removing of learning objects and assignments.
- Collaborate with HRGs to manage organizational changes and audit dynamic groups and assignments to ensure employees are identified appropriately to receive training assignments based on specific roles.
- Monitor updates in the SHE and QA Minimum Compliance Training matrices to ensure the factory remains compliant with ever-changing expectations and communicate changes with course owners.
- Collaborate with course owners to develop learning solutions and leverage the LMS to deliver learning solutions that impact key training priorities
- Maintain learner transcripts, including removal, archiving, and interpreting user assignment history.
- Earn trainer certification in order to facilitate in-person training events including new hire orientation to transfer knowledge of the LMS functionality and OJT requirements for new employees.
- Understand and navigate multiple compliance-driven systems to support learning consistency and compliance alignment.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience:
- Providing administrative support for compliance-driven systems
- Supporting training programs or activities
- Analyzing data from several sources using Office 365 tools in order to produce information to help management make informed business decisions
- Working with organizational structure design
SKILLS:
- Advanced LMS application skills preferred: Cornerstone On Demand, Articulate, and Camtasia desired
- Advanced technology applications required: Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with good judgment and high-attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong strategic thinking and planning ability
- Strong ability and orientation to work in a team environment, collaborate, and coach others
- Self-motivation with excellent organization and customer service skills are essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience dealing with confidential information
- Project management skills for large tasks or small projects desired
- Must be skilled at multi-tasking and ensure excellent follow-through with high attention to details
