This position is for 2nd shift; Monday-Friday 3 : 00-11 : 30pm.
SUMMARY :
The Equipment Cleaner is responsible for cleaning production equipment and associated general work areas safely and thoroughly.
They’re also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and / or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect to ensure the quality and quantity of products produced.
Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Cleans, washes, sanitizes, stores and organizes equipment to include but not limited to machines, conveyors, hoppers, carts, vessels, filters, utensils, processing equipment, change parts and facilities components
- Ensures that residual material is removed, equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for use and that any wear is repaired or reported so it can be repaired
- Rinses, washes equipment thoroughly to remove soap residue and sanitizes as required by SOP
- Stores clean equipment in a manner that prevents contamination
- Labels cleaned equipment with identification that indicates the equipment is clean and the expiration of the clean status
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Military experience a plus
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
EXPERIENCE :
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
SKILLS :
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $$ Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
