The Pharmacy Associate is responsible for all activities related to the dispensing of raw materials as per a formula. Also, they are responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect, assuring the quality and quantity of products produced.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dispenses raw materials per a formula independently as well as within a team environment
- Matches all labels with batch records
- Must be able to document process as per formula and SOPs
- Must be able to load and unload raw materials
- Monitor pharmacy process periodically and report any abnormal conditions to the manager
- Responsible for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Military experience a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb and bend within a manufacturing environment
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
SKILLS:
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
