We are currently seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates who have substantial experience in transcribing depositions and hearings. This opportunity is fully remote and designed for Independent Contractors.
In this role, you will cover a range of content including depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. A keen attention to detail and familiarity with legal terminology is crucial as you will be processing audio recordings to produce verbatim transcripts while strictly adhering to style guides.

- Experience with court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription required.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
- Outstanding literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
- Ability to collaborate remotely.
- Typing proficiency in both speed and accuracy.
- Ability to process extreme audio/text content (may be offensive).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with legal terminology.
- Court reporting students will also be considered.
- Currently, this opportunity is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
- High-speed internet.

- Noise-canceling quality headphones.

- Antivirus program with daily virus definition updates (except Webroot antivirus).
