Education Requirements:
A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years relevant experience.
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual s degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
Job Description:
Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Participates in final system integration and validation to identify functional problems. Defines internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Creates, documents, and analyzes the most complex test cases and provides feedback and recommendations for product or design changes. Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Identifies chronic or systemic problems in testing and develops and implements improvements to process. May coordinate with vendors or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.
Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
List of tasks to be performed:
At least 8 years of relevant software testing and managing experience required.
Responsible for preparation, execution, and management of the entire CAT testing process.
This role will be responsible for daily interaction with business and technology teams across several applications to ensure successful CAT execution as well as to prepare daily summarized outputs on progress and issue remediation plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, validate test scenarios, execute test cases, and track defects through the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with different leads to ensure testing deadlines are met.
Ensure test results are being well documented, test artifacts are developed and attached in ALM and CAT artifacts are generated and shared with the right stakeholders.
Manage the defect process according to the CAT Approach/Plan, promptly addressing critical issues and driving to resolution.
Able to develop/modify, document, and execute test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios based upon software requirements definition, in concert with the business process analysis and customer-driven change requests.
Work with test leads to develop test plans.
Write and implement manual and automated QA test plans using technical requirements or design specifications and produce automated test cases.
Execute and document test activities.
Conduct detailed analysis of test results found through both manual and automated testing.
Log relevant detailed defects, follow-through with the associated teams for defect resolution and retest the fixed defect.
Investigate and propose methods and standards for continuous process improvement.
Experience working Java, Python, R, XML, JSON.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development practices and associated testing strategies.
Experience working with ALM, UFT, Selenium and VersionOne.
Experience working with DB tools like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Experience working with mail.xml is a plus.
