As the Event Coordinator, your responsibility will be to act as a hybrid between customer service and sales. You will serve as a resource for customers, management, technicians, and event facilities to ensure that services are ordered properly and delivered on-time.
The responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Answer incoming calls and assist the customer, or triage as necessary
- Make outgoing phone calls to previous customers to determine if they need to order services for upcoming events
- Oversee email and direct mail marketing campaigns
- Ensure that all orders are entered into Task Management System and scheduled appropriately
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and recordkeeping as necessary
- Provide on-site sales support for events if required
