The Coordinator must reside in MA, NH, CT, GA, TN, or IL
The Coordinator works as part of a team with responsibility for entering patient information and medical data as part of a busy office. Flexible schedule . This position is primarily reviewing referral information and entering data into an electronic medical record.
- Electronic communication with physician offices to obtain information
- Creating and processing electronic patient charts for multiple sites (HEAVY DATA ENTRY)
- Accurately Compiling and entering information into databases
- Uploading information for electronic availability
- Utilize critical thinking to analyze and complete referral information
- Faxing information to physician offices
- Participating in special projects
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- ACCURACY with data entry and strong keyboarding ability
- Ability to quickly learn new software programs
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability and desire to work independently and as part of a team
- High School diploma or GED REQUIRED; college coursework desirable.
- Remote environment must provide privacy, with secure password protected internet access. No other concurrent responsibilities during scheduled work hours.
- COVID vaccination/boosters, Annual Flu vaccination and other vaccinations as required by our client hospitals (although the position is remote, requirements must be met for remote access to hospital electronic record systems).
