Position Summary
The Enrollment Director (ED) is an integral part of the administrative team. The ED) will work closely with the other members of the team to ensure that the administrative functions of the school are executed with a high level of effectiveness and integrity. The Enrollment Director’s responsibilities include communicating with prospective families in an effective and timely fashion, overseeing all enrollment, re-enrollment and registrar processes at NSWS, including the admissions process from first contact through acceptance.
Communications responsibilities also include utilizing multiple communication formats, including written, photographic, and video formats, and engages the community through email, printed collateral, web-based channels, and social media.
The person serving in this role also supports general office needs, and projects as assigned.
The Enrollment Director is responsible for the duties described by the Human Services Agency.
Enrollment Management
- The Enrollment Director addresses interested families’ questions and concerns. The ED will master conversations that cause and empower new families to register their children in our school.
-The candidate would serve as the main point of contact for all incoming requests for school information and tours.
- They would also schedule and conduct tours
- Understand and maintain awareness of the Enrollment Roster and enrollment caps per class
- Communicate with faculty and administrative staff regarding enrollment matters
- Help plan and staff enrollment events- Maintain enrollment tracking database- Be responsible for updating and stocking all enrollment forms and creating application packets.
- Maintain inventory for information packets, including Waldorf promotional materials, folders, and business cards.
Re-Enrollment Management
- Manages re-enrollment of current families.
Registrar:
- Maintain complete and accurate student records.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
- Shred all documents with personal and confidential information.
- Update Emergency Binders for each respective class while also revising the two master copies for office use.
Communications:
-Silver Sage Bulletin (newsletter) content writer
-Communicate with Graphic Designer as needed.
-Maintain current postings on bulletin boards: print/post/remove postings/fliers.
-Manage School Email System - Google Workspace
-Update user and group accounts.-Update and maintain faculty/staff/parent/class contact information and distribution lists.
-Manage Google Calendar -Create and maintain dates on Google Calendar for the school’s “Academic” calendar
-Manage the School Communication / Notification Systems
-Mail Chimp contact details (phone and email).
-Annual School Directory
-Proofread and provide feedback
Social Media Responsibilities
-Ensure NSWS website content is up to date. This includes creating up to date events for all school festivals, fundraisers, open houses, enrollment tours and special events with content and images. Request changes to the webmaster as needed.
-Share school events and happenings on social media; invite the public as appropriate.
-Create information and images for our website that promote and educate the public about our programs and enrollment opportunities. Manage social media marketing to increase brand recognition of the school, increase the number of “Likes” to our page and promote awareness of Waldorf education. Repost articles and videos from other Waldorf sources about Waldorf philosophy.
-Main contact for existing marketing company
-Manage Google ads
- Measure and interpret metrics provided by marketing company and META and in order to make necessary adjustments to maximize results
Special Projects
The Enrollment Director will complete special projects as requested by the Administrative Director. Short tasks and long-term projects can be either simple or complex in nature. The Administrative Director will ensure that the proper orientation and training are provided for all special projects.
Required Skills:
- Outstanding communicator, ability to recognize and address other people's concerns
- Extensive knowledge of Waldorf Pedagogy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Warm, professional demeanor; excellent customer service and people skills
- Ability to work in a team environment in addition to working independently, using own initiative- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to adhere to timelines
- Weekend hours required a few times per year to support enrollment events.
- Familiar with Center Director responsibilities
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google G Suite.
- Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and similar social media platforms.
- Familiar with Google Analytics and Facebook Insight/Business Manager

The following qualities are required to serve effectively as the NSWS Enrollment Director:
Being coachable, flexible, dynamic, articulate, likes children, passionate about education and child development, thoughtful, patient, flexible, open, welcoming and empathetic, interested in building and being a member of an extraordinarily effective administrative leadership team.
Required Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Degree in Early Childhood Education. Fulfill the qualifications for Center Director as outlined in section 21.1 of Must hold a current credential as a “Child Development Associate” Must pass a federal background check and return a negative, and return a negative TB test.

39,555 - 59,555 depending on experience
