New England CP, Inc. performs corrosion control testing and inspections for natural gas distribution companies in MA, NH, ME and CT. We have been in business for 25 years and our expertise is nationally recognized.
Job Description:
Corrosion Analyst: This person performs basic electrical testing on gas piping and performs visual inspection of gas piping for corrosion. The testing and inspections are documented on paper or electronically. The Corrosion Analyst is home based and reports to a job site each morning.
This position requires you to:
- Work safely.
- Work independently.
- Work outside.
- Perform basic electrical tests.
- Use hand tools.
- Read and interpret utility maps.
- Use a laptop computer.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Pass a preemployment drug test and be subject to random drug testing throughout your employment, including for marijuana.
This position is 8 hours per day and 5 days per week. Overtime is usually available but is not required.
We are looking for people who would typically report to a job site in eastern Massachusetts or southern New Hampshire. Reporting to work in other areas including the Springfield, MA area may also be required.
Starting pay is $22.00/hour. Higher starting pay may be available if you have applicable experience.
We will provide a company vehicle for work purposes.
We will provide all required training.
