Job description
We are looking for a friendly and happy individual to help feed our students nutricous meals and snacks! If you are motivated by hugs and high-fives from children and desire to keep them healthy and fed, we'd love to meet you!
Pay starts at $12.00 with no experience. More experience equates to a higher offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing meals and snacks for a school of 180 students.
- Keep proper inventory and help with the ordering process of food and paper products.
- Keeps a clean kitchen and work space that adheres to health department standards.
- Maintains strict adherence to safety and regulatory policies regarding the use and storage of food and paper products.
- May step into classrooms and give breaks to a teacher at times.
- Willing to help drive school van for student pick-up.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a kitchen or chef position preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass state and federal background checks.
- Must have or willing to obtain a Food Manager's License.
