Position: Production Worker
Hours: 3rd Shift (10pm - 6:30am) SUN-THURS

Job Summary
Responsible for knowing all jobs in make-up and wrap.
Responsible for performing quality checks when necessary.
Maintain bakery and all work areas in sanitary condition.
Visually inspect equipment for sanitary conditions prior to starting.
Check dough schedule for production run information.
Check posted standards for proper set-up, bake times and temperatures for the variety that you will be running.
Set-up area with pans.
Put catch pans in place.
Check de-panner and set according to posted standards.
Set-up pan stacker and un-stacker according to posted standards.
Invert top pan on stacks of pans that are not in use.
Responsible for the re-wrapping products.
Keep the area clean - emptying catch pans as needed throughout shift.
Empty waste dough, baked rejects, and floor sweepings into proper waste containers. Weigh and record weight on scrap sheet and empty into the waste compactor.
Sweep floor in area and adjoining area, under de-panner and cooler as needed.
Keep waste dough and baked rejects in the proper containers.
Dust and scrape off belts with a proper colored brush during variety changes and as needed.
Communicate with wrap operator to include end of varieties, pan counts, shift breaks, pan changes and line jams
Responsible for maintaining good safety practices at all times.
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the work area.
Responsible for following all GMP’s.
Responsible for cleaning oven room- including seeder
Responsible for cleaning the pan cleaner
Specific Responsibilities Relating to Food Safety, Legality, and Quality
Ensures that all the jobs that are relieved are done properly.
Properly reads, comprehends, and completes required forms
Reports and takes necessary action to prevent food safety, legality, and quality problems from occurring.
Follows and enforces programs and procedures outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to support compliance with the GFSI Standard and other third-party audits
Abilities Required
Have the ability to perform all jobs in Muffin and/or Bun make-up.
Able to lift 50 pounds. Able to stand for 8 hours a day. Able to communicate with other employees. Able to follow written and verbal instructions in a timely manner.
