Overview
As a Customer Service Representative for New Kingdom Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding, friendly, service and support to our patients and their families while consistently demonstrating New Kingdom’s core values. As a member of New Kingdom’s high volume, fast paced Patient Contact Center, you will be trained in the many different ways we support our patients and their families with the expectation that you can perform any and all of the roles to meet the needs of our patients.
Primary Support Responsibilities
· New patient registration and appointment scheduling
· Existing patient appointment scheduling
· Responding to voicemails and patient portal requests and inquiries
· Checking-in patients and capturing accurate insurance and demographic information
· Receiving, processing, and sending medical records
· Supporting the nursing team in fulfilling non-clinical inquiries
· Responding to Email, Facebook and Chat requests and inquiries
· Other support duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in a customer service, customer facing role
· Fast typing and screen navigation is a must
· An ability to multi-task and switch between job tasks without missing a beat
· Demonstrate the highest levels of courtesy & professionalism at all times
· Be a great team player with strong teamwork and collaboration
· Previous experience with medical software is a plus
· Previous experience in a clinic environment is a plus
· Previous experience answering basic insurance and patient questions is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
