Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing expense reports, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Verify discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
Skills:
- Proficiency in Blackbaud or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial concepts
- Familiarity with Blackbaud is a plus
- Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
