Full-Time, Non-Union, Exempt Position
$28.84 per hour, 35 hours per week
Monday through Friday
BASIC FUNCTION OF PLANNER:
To provide research and support in the development of grant applications and analysis of agency wide outcome data which outlines the effectiveness of agency programming.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF PLANNER:
- Research and identify grant opportunities.
- Meet with Program Directors and the Management Team to identify program goals and needs; develop grant applications.
- Develop knowledge of agency software systems and understanding of utilization of systems including reporting capability outcome tracking and return on investment.
- Analyze agency outcome data which outlines agency strengths and areas for improvement.
- Represent the Agency at various meeting and events, as requested by the Director of Research, Development & Planning.
- Perform a community relation’s role, providing positive reinforcement of Agency programs and activities.
- Attend Community and Program related meetings, as requested, summarize and present information back to the Director of Research, Planning and Development.
- Conduct training sessions which support implementation of integrated service delivery model and agency’s transformational leadership plan.
- Facilitate agency discussions on outcome tracking, measuring results, and reporting results to community stakeholders
- Supervise Projects/Staff on an as needed basis.
- Perform various program related errands, such as attending meetings, presentations, and assistance at Agency sponsored events.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS OF PLANNER:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Related field plus 2 years experience
- Additional experience may substitute for Degree
Experience:
Experience should be in grant/proposal writing, community planning; data analysis, outcome tracking, and program development.
