We are looking for an Events Planner who demonstrates a passion for events planning to join the team. This individual must be a motivated self-starter, enthusiastic and extremely organized individual. You will work closely with multiple Brand Visionaries!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Working closely with Project Managers
  • Coordinating internal events
  • Coordinating Brand alignment meetings (attendees, meeting location, time...)
  • Manage budgeting throughout the planning process
  • Selecting an appropriate venue suitable for the type of event
  • Selecting the best price for products and services
  • Organizing audiovisual equipment in advance
  • Coordinating hotels, transportation and food, as needed
  • Attending and monitoring activities to ensure NRE/Brands satisfaction
  • Managing & coordinating communication with speakers and attendees
  • Managing the planning team to ensure event is on pace for the given timeline
  • Coordinate with internal team to ensure event is adhering to goals & objectives
  • Assist with coordinating resources & update team on progress of ticket sales
  • Assist with set up, tear down, & resetting of event space each event day
  • Take note of & communicate follow up action items to team post-event
  • Compile data to report on performance of event

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or higher education
  • 2-4 years of events planning experience, preferred
  • Effective written and oral communication skill
  • Ability to work some weekends and/or nights when some events may occur, a must
    • (Minimum 12 weekends in one year)
  • Efficient organization and time management abilities
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Able to identifying and solving problems
  • Must be calm and personable under pressure with strong negotiation, budget management, staff management, interpersonal skills with all levels of management
  • Exhibit an ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detailed oriented
