Painters - Waynesboro, PA- 1st Shift
CAM Superline
Responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that coat the manufactured trailers.
Essential Job Duties:
- Utilize proper PPE: safety glasses, steel-toed boots, respirator, and bump cap if under a trailer
- Prepare surfaces to be coated to remove grease, dirt and rust (pressure water washing, power wire brushing, air compressor debris removal,
DA Sanding) - Able to work in a team environment to achieve production goals
- Apply coatings onto manufactured products
- Touch up defective areas of painted items
- Maintain equipment by cleaning nozzles, containers, and hoses of machines
- Prepare paints for different color usage
- Read and understand work orders and work instructions
- Perform quality checks both before and after paint application
- Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Good physical condition with the ability to safely lift 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standing
- Experience wet coating required
