Store Lead

Location: Jackson, WY

Reports to: Jackson Store Manager

What You’ll Do

As the Store Lead of our HQ and Outlet locations, your role will be fluid in many of our customer facing operations as well as the behind the scenes tasks that make New West KnifeWorks efficient and successful.

Retail

• Work independently and directly with the Jackson Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations of the store.
• Contributes to decision-making in the areas of hiring, scheduling, staff experience and store performance.
• Act as the decision maker in the absence of the Jackson Store Manager.
• Ensure that our customer experience is exceptional, consistent, authentic, engaging and aligned with New West KnifeWorks’s core values.
• Help to develop a team of motivated Retail Pros in a selling culture.
• Lead by example to foster excellence among your sales team.
• Inspire and facilitate staff communication and best practices to achieve robust sales goals.
• Foster a seamless customer experience from inventory, merchandising, to the final transaction.
• Maintain the look and feel of the store so it reflects the world class quality of the product.
• Support the NWKWs logistics division as needed including fulfillment, distribution, and customer care.
• Remain agile and open to changes in job duties as New West KnifeWorks continues to grow.
  
  
  

Fulfillment & Distribution

• Fulfills online orders with an attention to detail from collection of payment to package delivery
• Independently fulfills customer’s orders on deadlines and with excellence
• Works closely with Logistics Manager to deliver inventory transfers to all retail and business outlets.
• Works closely with Logistics Manager to execute on Cycle Counts (Monthly)
• Carefully prepares packaging and shipping of custom goods to our retail locations
• Maintains company’s reputation of excellent customer service, attention to
• Will assist with training all NWKW on the proper way to package items
• Coordinates with Retail on “How to Ship” one-off goods
• Coordinate and fulfill Vendor Return request from Marketing, Operations and Ownership
  
  
  

Customer Service, Support & Care

• Engages and communicates directly with customers via email, phone, and other official company communications to uphold NWKW’s high level of customer service
• Works in concert with the voice and mission of NWKW’s Customer Service
• Assists other NWKW’s employees regarding NWKW’s Customer Service Standards and voice of the company.
• Detects and proposes solutions to customer facing issues while maintaining company standards and goals
• Will assist with customer service items that exceed the capabilities of retail outlets.
• Will be trained on the “formal” and “informal” standards of NWKW Customer Service.
  
  
  

Availability

Our stores are open seven days a week. Some weekend and evening shifts are required for this position.
