NY Health (NYH) is excited to expand our medical services to include the Center for Urology, Primary Care, The Nephrology Center and The Department of Physical Therapy. With multiple locations spanning from the Bronx and Queens to Suffolk County, our health care experts are available and prepared to put your health first.
In this role, you will:
- Give medication as prescribed by a Physician.
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and weight.
- Injections of medication.
- Administer immunizations.
- Obtain patients medical histories.
- Enter information into EMR computer systems.
- Start IVs after certification as well as phlebotomy.
We require:
- License in the State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- At least 1 year of working in a medical facility.
- Good computer knowledge.
- Able to start IV’s helpful.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.
- Compassionate patient care.
- Vaccination against COVID-19.
Salary Up to $30 per hour and benefits including Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1 of employment, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO time, 8 paid holidays (2 floating) and more.
