Oracle SCM Technical Consultant

Oracle Technical SCM Consultant - Fusion cloud experience is needed

2. Candidate Profile:

The ideal Custom Solution Design Lead should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and over 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle ERP, including strong software development skills. They must excel in integrating applications with middleware solutions like OIC, MuleSoft, and AWS API Management. Proficiency in extension development using VBCS and design tools like Draw.IO is desirable. The candidate should prioritize testing, have experience with CI/CD, and be customer-focused. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities are essential.

3. Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop, integrate, and deliver that delight customers with scalable and maintainable code under the hood using Oracle Fusion Application technologies with specialization in Supply Chain area.
2. Develop Oracle Fusion related Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) supply chain extensions using Oracle Fusion Technology stack.
3. Develop applications that can integrate with software such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent middleware solutions.
4. Architect, build and deliver products that delight customers with scalable and maintainable code under the hood.
5. Be responsible for the design, implementation, unit testing, performance, and monitoring of the team s solutions.
6. Provide oversight, assistance, and guidance to development of the application security architecture supporting the applications.
7. Responsible for ensuring quality through design reviews, code reviews and development of standards.
8. Serve as a mentor to team members by demonstrating alternate techniques, reviewing code, and strengthening skills.
9. Research and recommends appropriate application development best practices, and tools.
10. Develop new functionality on our existing software products and Provide development support and assistance for escalations and issues.
11. All other responsibilities as assigned

4. Job Requirements:

1. B.S. or above degree in Computer Science or related technical field
2. 5 years hands-on experience developing Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Planning, Inventory, BOM, Costing, Production Controls, and discrete and process manufacturing.
3. Strong software development skills in detailed application design, database design, object-oriented concepts, and Abstraction/Dependency Injection patterns
4. Strong Experience in integrating applications with integration software such as OIC, MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent middleware solutions.
5. Experience developing extension using VBCS.
6. Deep experience of relational database development using Oracle database technologies and services, SQL queries, NoSQL
7. Experience with Draw.IO or other design tools.
8. Strong focus on testing during development
9. Experience with CI/CD
10. Experience with JIRA or some comparable tool.
11. Focus on customer experience and build product features that delight users.
12. Passionate about exploring new technologies.
13. Knowledge of application server configurations, memory/connection management
14. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
15. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Proven ability to lead and communicate orally, in written documents, and in formal presentations is required.
