Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Job Location: Coppell, TX
Schedule: Onsite-Hybrid Schedule
Job Type: Contract - Duration: 1 1/2 years
Compensation: $60-75/hour - Compensation will be based on the candidate’s skills and experience. No other forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions are offered for this position. Newbold offers health care benefits and other benefits in accordance with applicable Federal or State law.
- General Job Description: Our client has a long-term consulting opportunity seeking an entrepreneurial type of consultant who is versatile and able to perform in a dual-role capacity. Responsibility includes, but is not limited to ensuring the quality of Releases of custom software products, and providing general support of system performance monitoring for current production and .NET applications. This role will assist in developing processes and must possess integrity and good character and be a resourceful, independent, self-starter with a creative thinking mindset.
Job Requirements:
- Tech Skills to include T-SQL, AZURE, Octopus Deploy
- 6 years of experience in the field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle with scripting experience
- Maintain release notifications, instructions, and processes.
- Performs code migrations for deployment.
- Provide input for design and document of source code control, promotion models, build, test, and release processes.
- Execute strategies to manage installations, upgrades, and rollbacks and troubleshoot environmental issues.
