Position: Analyst, Order Management Systems
Location: Hoboken, NJ
The OMS Analyst will support operational needs of Newell Direct To Consumer (DTC) Order Management System. The Analyst will build/maintain business configurations, rules and workflows within the OMS platform. This role will work closely with ERP, Consumer Services, Commerce and Content Management teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Business, Consumer Services and Supply Chain teams to understand and document Business requirements
- Work closely with the Product teams to clearly understand the roadmap and business impacts
- Document use cases, create user stories and design workflow processes.
- Work with Tech Lead to translate requirements into technical specifications and create data mapping artifacts.
- Assist in addressing operational support work for the brands and functionalities that have gone live
- Assist with Training documentation and knowledge transfers
- Assist QA team with development of functional test plans and facilitate user acceptance process.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of the business processes as well as a strong working rapport with business users.
- Help validate existing business rules for each brand and create new/improve existing business rules based on the brand needs
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience with B2C/B2B eCommerce systems
- Hands on experience working with any OMS (Order Management system) - required, experience with Deck Commerce is a big plus
- A high-level understanding of the order lifecycle and order attributes flow across eCommerce ecosystem
- Understanding of the payment processing and fraud management is nice to have
- Experience working through at least one Data Migration or Re-platforming project is nice to have
- Experience working on the integration with the ERP system is nice to have, SAP/Oracle EBS knowledge is a big plus
- Ability to understand complex systems and E2E order workflows
- Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to make presentations
- Experience working with both Agile is a plus.
- Experience working with MS Visio or Lucidchart - required
- Ability to work under pressure while still delivering on schedule with strong sense of project urgency
