NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital in Northern Westchester County is committed to putting patients first. As a Lead to CSPD technicians, you will serve as a resource to all Central Processing staff and customers. Oversee workload. Ensure all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, and distributed in a quality/timely manner throughout the hospital. This is a full time position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital. There is a weekend call and week night call requirement. The holiday call requirement is rotated.
Preferred Criteria
Prior experience in Central Sterile
Secondary Certifications: Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certification, Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification, or Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) certification
Required Criteria
High School Diploma of GED
Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterilization technique, infection control requirements, and a basic knowledge of med/surg procedure terminology
