BASIC DESCRIPTION
The Information Technology Hardware Technician is responsible for managing IT hardware and software procurement, as well as asset tracking and auditing across the enterprise. This is a fulltime, non-exempt position.:

The Information Technology Hardware Technician is responsible for managing IT hardware and software procurement, as well as asset tracking and auditing across the enterprise. This is a fulltime, non-exempt position.:
MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage IT hardware and software procurement.
- Assist with fleet audits and management.
- Perform PC hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Perform PC, laptop, and mobile device repair.
- Manage IT asset disposal.
- Manage IT projects as assigned by IT Director.
- Work with IT vendors to support IT operations.
- Learn and support various IT systems and services.
- Assist in remote support and trouble-ticket escalations.
- Serve as a backup agent for the IT Service Desk.
- Support regional IT team as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to end-users.
- Attend department/company meetings as assigned.
- Either have completed courses or currently studying Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or similar is preferred
- IT Service Desk experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and iOS devices and operating systems.
- Experience with Google Admin Console and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Working knowledge of PC software applications/applets, including, but not limited to; Office 365 and Chrome OS.
- Basic knowledge of printing and faxing technologies.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to portray professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a group setting.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
