Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics
Location: Fairbanks, AK

Shift Information
Shift Length: 12-hour nights
On-call Requirement: As needed
Vacation Requirement: Per unit needs
Start Date: ASAP (Onboarding process approximately 5-8 weeks)
Compensation
Base Hourly Pay: $36.42-$60.33 based on overall years of experience as an RN
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000-$15,000 retention bonus

Responsibilities
Assess patients physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
Review patient history and physical with patient/family and ensure completion within the appropriate timeframe.
Review available information obtained by other healthcare team members and analyze diagnostics and laboratory data.
Report abnormal results to physicians and other appropriate caregivers.
Complete assessments and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
Initiate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care.
Set realistic and measurable goals for the patient in conjunction with the patient and family.
Required Qualifications
1 year of experience as a PEDS RN (PICU RN experience will also be considered)
Licenses And Certificates Required
Must possess an AK RN license prior to starting
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
