Shift Type: Night (Rotating Weekends)

Shift Start Time: 7:00 PM

Shift End Time: 7:00 AM

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $27.64 to $40.02, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical ICU (MICU) team. As part of our Critical Care unit, you will provide care for patients with critical illnesses or injuries, including heart failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, and more. Our MICU offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you will gain exposure to acute patients and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform care for patients with critical conditions utilizing the nursing process.
• Provide care for patients with heart failure, respiratory distress, multisystem organ failure, sepsis, trauma, strokes, and more.
• Serve as the primary nurse coordinating care across multiple disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
• Excel in interpersonal communication, leadership, time management, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, emotionally intense environment.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse or active multistate RN license required.
• BLS certification required to start; ACLS certification required (can be obtained after hire).
• Acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Will consider candidates with 6 months to 1 year of Med-Surg experience.
• Experience in LTC, SNF, or case management with prior floor nursing experience may be considered.
